Gwen Bonpaix
Mental Health Practitioner
I have a degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Master’s in Experimental Psychology. I have experience working with young adults and children, both in mainstream and SEND settings.
During my studies, I became particularly interested in how the environment and lifestyle affect not only physical health but also mental well-being. I love supporting others and helping them through their challenges in a positive way. I was drawn to Anxend because their programme does precisely this - it empowers young people to understand their anxiety on a biological level, allowing them to regulate it themselves and thus take back control over their lives. Seeing the children I support overcome their challenges and flourish as individuals is extremely fulfilling and rewarding.
In my free time, I enjoy keeping fit through sports like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and running. I also enjoy gentler pursuits like playing the piano and reading. I grew up in France, speaking English and French at home, which has made me particularly curious about other languages and cultures and eager to travel the world! I believe my various pastimes help give me a healthy work-life balance and allow me to bring my best self to work every day.
