Answer from Anxend experts
Thank you for contacting Anxend to look for help.
I am sorry that you are struggling with school, sleep and sadness and that this is making you
withdraw.
You are not alone. Anxiety and depression are much more common than most people realise.
It is good that you have recognised that you have a problem and are looking for help. There is
available help.
Being very sad is often associated with poor sleep and poor concentration and that can affect school and confidence with other people.
Have you shared how you are feeling with your parents or anyone else?
It would be good to share how you are feeling with your school. If they know how you are feeling they should be able to help.
If you can't share your feelings with your parents have you talked to any other trusted adults?
Anxend offers private help for people struggling with anxiety. You could do the GAD-7 test on our website and see if we can help you further through our programme.
It is important to share your feelings, especially if you are having any thoughts of self-harm. You can seek help from school, your GP or helplines such as the Samaritans.
