How the assessment works
For the Assessment you and your child, will meet online with two members of our clinical support team.
We will ask in-depth questions to understand what you are struggling with and how it is affecting your lives.
This will take place in the first two weeks of the Anxiety Solution Programme
You will then receive our full clinical assessment in a comprehensive written report
Your coach will use your report to customise the Anxiety Solution Programme to your unique family situation.
An important part of your child’s daily life is their school environment, so we prepare a special report to advise your school on how to support your child most effectively.
As well as an invitation to the school to discuss with us how to best support your child.
How does our Anxiety Assessment benefit your family?
We simplify the complex science of anxiety, helping your child and you understand their feelings and overcome the fear of the unknown.

Detailed Reports
What is the real value of our reports?
Once you complete your Anxiety Assessment you will receive detailed clinical reports that provide insight into your child's anxiety. These reports bring multiple benefits to different aspects of your child's life:
Schools
Our school report is designed to be handed directly to your child’s school to guide them in supporting your child.
Our report helps your child’s school in considering an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) or an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP)
The report will offer the school key insights into your child's needs, making it easier to get the best possible support and guidance.
We'll support you by working with the school to create a personalized care plan that supports your child.
The report is personalised to your child's specific challenges, giving the school advice and approaches that support your child.
When necessary, and with your consent, schools can have direct communication with us.
Some changes schools have made within days of receiving the report
Moving desk positions to ease classroom anxiety.
Allowing children to excuse themselves from class without asking for permission.
Creating private areas for lunch and bathroom use.
Actively work with Anxend and parents to provide better tailored support.
Establish breakout rooms/facilities for children when they need to escape and cope.
Improve overall understanding and support for the child's need.
GPs & the NHS
The report can be handed to your GP and NHS medical professionals to aid them in triaging your child.
GPs and the NHS will gain valuable insights into your child's mental health struggles and needs.
The report can help secure and speed up referrals to different services, such as CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services).
Information in the report can aid in creating a care plan tailored to your child's unique requirements.
CAMHS
The waiting lists for CAMHS can be long and your family could be waiting months simply to get to the first stage of a phone call assessment.
The report is an excellent way for you to engage with your medical professionals to get the help that you need.
It will show them valuable, detailed information about your child’s mental health struggles and needs.
It can then help specialised services, including CAMHS, to decide what support they can offer in the timeliest way.
